Dagnor's Cauldron can easily be viewed as the dangerous wasteland of Faydwer. The entire area is covered with twisted and steep rocky formations that are themselves occasionally covered with moss. The terrain will have a decrepit dead tree every so often but not much else. The center of Dagnor's Cauldron has a massive murky lake with a small mountain island in its middle that juts up into sky.

The entire area is also littered with deadly Undertow Skeletons and ferocious Aqua Goblins. Neither of these creatures will think twice about ripping you apart, and can do this quite easily if you are low level. There are also numerous amounts of snakes that slither about, but they are not much of a threat unless you are poisoned.

The northern section of Dagnor's Cauldron has a small camp of npc's that can assist you if you are getting mobbed by a group of enemies. The island in the center of the lake also has a dwarf npc by the name of Corium Darkblade, who will sell you a number of items required for a Rogue to create poisons.

The only real benefits that this zone holds is that its southern border leads to the haunted mansion of Unrest and underneath the ominus island that Corium Darkblade stands on is the deadly aquatic dungeon of Kedge Keep. Corium is pretty awesome in his own right as well.

Travelling To and From Dagnor's CauldronEdit

The entrance to Dagnor's Cauldron can be easily missed as you make your way there. It is located at the southern edge of the Butcherblock Mountains, and the entrance itself is within a small crevice against the wall of the zone's border.

Once inside Dagnor's Cauldron, you have three choices for leaving the zone, but only the exit into the Butcherblock Mountains can let you fully leave the area. The northern exit is hard to see as it is a very long crevice carved into the mountainside of the zone's border, but you can find it more easily if you look for the trees that are dotted around it. These trees are the only ones in Dagnor's Cauldron.

The other two choices for leaving are to either go into Unrest at the southern end of the zone or to swim under the large island in the lake and enter Kedge Keep.
