Hi Everyone, remember back in the day when you had to learn sense direction, finding your corpse before you died and learning how to use /loc for your corpse? Well, that was me and I didn't listen too well when people told me not to go into Lesser Faydark, got killed a lot there by the random brownie that was roaming around, not to mention a few times by that black mare that didn't like anyone. There were no in-game maps, no mercs, no PoK, no GL, nothing to help you except looting your corpse and losing exp. there may have been a few clerics here and there but if your by yourself and not in a group it was either run, do or die.. nothing to help you out.. EQ certainly has evolved a lot for the greater good since then, stayed in Bloodfields just the zl area for months before the mercs came out, if it wasn't for them, I'd still be lvl 70 or so trying to stay alive after calming those mobs and pulling them one at a time.. I've been playing for almost 11 years or so, and I've seen this game evolve so much that I am several expansions behind, don't really care about my level at this point since new AA's come out all the time, gotta keep those up to stay alive.. be safe, and happy hunting :)
