appearance. Their hair coloration comes in a wide variety but mostly stays within the range of possibilities one might find in real-world human beings.

Alliance[]

Wood Elves are a good-aligned race overall, but one which contains some options for more neutral faction standings. Most Wood Elves worship Tunare, but Bards, Rogues and Warriors of the race can be Agnostic to avoid being KoS to some of the evil races.

Starting Cities[]

Wood elves can choose Crescent Reach or Kelethin as their starting city. Selecting Kelethin is highly recommended. Kelethin's PoK book is much more conveniently located (and within the same zone), allowing for quicker travel to anywhere else in the world after using Return Home or Origin.

Gameplay Advantages and Disadvantages[]

Apart from starting statistical differences, which make little to no difference at the highest levels due to the abundance of stat-boosting equipment, Wood Elves have few innate advantages or disadvantages to mention. They are among the smaller races, being a bit shorter than humans and high elves, and can usually make it through most tight spaces by ducking or walking normally. They have a remarkably high starting charisma but a low starting stamina, which has relevance for stat-point allocation and may influence early-game equipment choices.

Having access to Kelethin as a starting city is, in itself, a kind of gameplay advantage for wood elves, since the city is in a good location on its continent and has easy access to a PoK book.
